About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated finance professional to join our growing team at IQVIA. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end close processes, and contributing to the success of our shared services center in Bratislava.

Key Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing activities and statutory reporting processes in line with deadlines and internal guidelines
• Ensure accurate and complete accounting records, ready for audits and compliant with internal and external requirements
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights into variances and key drivers
• Perform and review general ledger activities, including accruals, provisions, and journal entries
• Conduct account reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal control frameworks (including SOX)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders, ensuring financial data accurately reflects business activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and systems
• Support projects and transitions, including onboarding of new countries into the shared services structure
• Maintain and grow your technical accounting knowledge and stay up to date with best practices
• Take ownership of selected processes or entities and support broader regional activities

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting (ideally GL or accounting operations)
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
• Strong Excel skills (including Pivot Tables)
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Solid communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Fluency in English (intermediate level or higher)
