Job description

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & build a fast-growing operations team, covering onboarding, customer support, and transaction monitoring
  • Execute onboarding with your team, resolving escalations and deep-diving into high-risk and complex cases as needed
  • Act as a Process Owner for onboarding, transaction monitoring, and customer support — reducing cost and lead times through better process design
    • Ensure CRA, EDD, and other risk assessments meet internal standards and regulatory requirements
    • Analysis of client activity, continuously evaluating effectiveness, proposing improvements and refining transaction monitoring rules
    • Leverage workflow tooling, automation and AI to reduce manual effort, improve quality and speed, and strengthen auditability
    • Identify and resolve policy/risk appetite blockers to business growth with FCC through committee approval and rollout
  • Facilitate smooth collaboration across Sales, Product and Compliance, helping to balance different objectives to ensure optimal results for the whole Group

Ideal candidate requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in banking/fintech, ideally within payments and regulated B2B clients
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (EQF Level 6) required
  • Knowledge of AML/CFT and regulatory expectations for onboarding, due diligence and transaction monitoring
  • Experience from building & scaling up new teams and/or business
  • Track record for improving operational efficiency (process redesign, procedure standardisation, KPI/SLA management)
  • Commercially minded and customer-focused, able to balance growth, risk and control requirements with sound judgement in escalations
