Summer position to carry out biochemistry research on picornaviral proteases and provide laboratory housekeeping services like dish washing and media & buffer preparation.

Required Job Qualifications

High school diploma with advanced AP science and AP math through calculus courses, laboratory experience though courses or prior lab work.

Preferred Job Qualifications

Prior experience with performing viral protease assays, gel electrophoresis, fluorescent kinetic assays in microplate format, curve fitting of experimental data, interpretation of rate curves.

Essential Duties

Carry out biochemical experiments, wash dishes, prepare media and grow cells.
