Minimum Requirements:
Three to five years of experience as an industrial mechanic in a heavy industrial environment. Experience with machine tools such as lathes and milling machines is an asset
A recognized college or school diploma in the appropriate discipline
Ability to read and interpret equipment specifications, engineering drawings, blueprints, graphs and tables
Be fluent in French and have a working knowledge of written and spoken English
A valid driver's license and an impeccable driving record

Responsibilities:
Align, troubleshoot and rebuild equipment, including pumps, turbines, motors, fans, gearboxes, vibration analyses, seals and hydraulic systems
Review and apply safe work standards, procedures and practices with a mindset of continuous improvement
Actively participate in post-event analyses and root cause discussions
Commit to following guidelines and maintaining technical and prevention records
Location and other important details:
You will work at our Montreal refinery, located at 11701 Sherbrooke Street East
Normal hours of work are 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The work schedule is typically daytime, with overtime possible during major operational events
You'll be required to lift heavy objects, use ladders, and work on scaffolding and towers with the ability to work in a variety of environments both indoors and outdoors, as well as confined spaces
This position has been designated as a security critical
