SUMMARY:
We are seeking a senior-level Program Manager to support a leading pharmaceutical client in delivering complex, cross-functional digital initiatives within a highly regulated, matrixed environment.
This role will act as a strategic delivery lead, partnering closely with client stakeholders, internal product and technology teams, and external vendors to oversee the rebuild and launch of multiple web properties from GitHub into Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
This is a high-visibility, on-site engagement (Eastern time zone required) supporting time-sensitive initiatives, including multiple launches in July.
HIERARCHY: This is a senior-level individual contributor role with no direct reports, operating as a program lead across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Program & Delivery Leadership
- Lead end-to-end execution of multiple concurrent digital initiatives (new builds and legacy site rebuilds)
- Drive program planning, timelines, dependencies, and risk management across workstreams
- Ensure alignment and accountability across client and vendor teams
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership, providing clear status, risk mitigation strategies, and delivery transparency
- Coordinate across product teams, account teams, internal tech organizations, and outsourced engineering partners
- Lead all meetings with strong executive presence (camera-on expectation)
Cross-Functional Coordination (Matrix Environment)
- Navigate a complex organizational structure with distributed ownership and shared resources
- Partner effectively with consulting business partners and other external vendors to ensure seamless execution
- Proactively remove blockers and drive decisions to maintain delivery momentum
Digital Platform Delivery
- Oversee migration from GitHub-based repositories to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Ensure effective version control and configuration management practices
- Guide teams in leveraging templates while adapting to evolving business needs
Workflow & Tooling
- Manage delivery using Workfront (or similar tools) for intake, workflow tracking, and reporting
- Establish visibility into progress, resource utilization, and delivery risks
Regulatory & Compliance Coordination
- Manage MLRO (Medical, Legal, Regulatory and Other) review cycles to meet compliance and approval requirements
- Coordinate content readiness across authors, reviewers, and stakeholders
Launch Readiness & Execution
- Drive planning and execution for key releases, including two Neuroscience site launches in July
- Ensure quality, compliance, and on-time delivery across all deliverables
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement innovative delivery approaches to improve speed, efficiency, and team coordination
- Enhance processes for managing both net-new and rebuild digital properties

REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree
EXPERIENCE:
- 8–12+ years of experience as a Program or Project Manager (consulting or client-facing preferred)
- Proven experience delivering large-scale digital platform projects (AEM strongly preferred)
- Experience working in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated industries
- Demonstrated success operating in matrixed environments with offshore and outsourced teams
- Strong understanding of:
- Version control systems (e.g., GitHub)
- Configuration management practices
- Digital content workflows and publishing
- Experience with Workfront or similar work management tools
- Familiarity with MLRO review processes highly preferred
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and executive presence
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
English
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment. Regular, repetitive movements such as typing, mouse movements, and scrolling. Ability to hear and understand spoken communications, both in person and via remote communication tools (e.g., phone, video conferencing). Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents, as well as adjust focus. This includes prolonged periods of looking at a computer screen.
