Job description

The GTM Positioning team is part of the Sales Enablement Group within the NBCU Ad Sales Organization. Sales Enablement collaborates across the organization to drive concise, consistent, and customized messaging to all clients and agencies. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with Director and Vice President on the following: 

  • Develop customized agency/client narratives and materials that drive demand for NBCU and solve agency/client business challenges 

  • Examples include: Custom GTM decks, QBRs, Top-to-Top meetings, CES materials, Upfront and Scatter Sales Decks, Marketing recaps and more. 

  • Responsible for materials across key Agency Holding Companies and categories including but not limited to: OMG/IPG, PMX, Auto/Pharma/Lux/Travel, CPG/Beverage/Finance 

  • Build and demonstrate a strong working knowledge of materials across all subject matters (i.e., Content, Data, Tech, Insights & Measurement) 

  • Partner with Director/Vice President and sales teams to understand agency/client business goals and category challenges 

  • Create trusted partnerships and working relationships across collaborative working teams (ie, Sales, Development, Category Strategy, Research, Product, Design, etc) to move projects forward and deliver persuasive narratives on time and on strategy   

  • Demonstrate growing project ownership from kick-off through design and delivery, with the ability to work independently while escalating roadblocks or concerns to supervisor as needed 

  • Serve as a key resource and point of collaboration for an Intern, providing guidance on narrative development, GTM materials and any special projects 

  • Actively participate in ongoing team and sales meetings and trainings to upskill, understand priorities, and drive revenue 

  • Maintain and update internal systems in a timely manner (e.g., Status reports, Monday.com) 

Basic Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 

  • 3+ years of experience in media or related industry with sales, marketing, client, or agency background preferred 

  • Must be proficient in PowerPoint and Excel 

  • Willingness to travel and work overtime if necessary

Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $65,000 - $70,000
