Overview:
SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking an Education and Training Manager to develop best-in-class curriculum and training materials to educate external and internal stakeholders on SageSure’s products and processes.
The Education and Training Manager works closely with the Marketing, Sales, Policy Services, Underwriting, and Product Development teams to identify education opportunities (e.g., new products, services, change management) for our contracted producers and internal team members. This role is responsible for developing and facilitating webinars, creating and updating training documents and videos, and managing marketing materials for our expanding suite of insurance products.
What you’d be doing:
- Leading overall curriculum strategy—through needs assessment, design, iteration, execution, and evaluation—to educate producers and internal team members on SageSure’s expanding suite of insurance products, services, and processes.
- Applying instructional design and adult learning principles to produce informative and highly engaging content in the form of virtual webinars, videos, microlearning, resources, and more.
- Developing and nurturing key partnerships with subject matter experts across the organization to help develop, review, and refine educational material.
- Supporting all product launches and change management by producing education materials and consulting trainers from across the organization to ensure consistency.
- Conducting gap analyses and monitoring internal and external feedback to identify areas of opportunity.
- Identifying and monitoring KPIs to measure success and optimize education initiatives.
- Staying on top of learning trends, market updates, and best practices.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- At least 5 years of professional training experience, preferably in a B2B setting.
- Proven experience in instructional design theory, curriculum building, or other educational development skills.
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with e-learning, video, and other learning creation and design software (i.e., Articulate, Camtasia, Vimeo, Figma, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A passion for connecting and resonating with a professional audience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and meet deadlines.
- High computer literacy and an ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, training and development, marketing, or related experience/certifications.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Highly preferred candidates also have:
- Experience in the property and casualty insurance industry.
