Join Our Flash Team as a Senior Staff Accountant!
FLASH is seeking to bring on an eager, dedicated Senior Staff Accountant to support the Controller during financial close and to carry out reconciliations for our key GL accounts.

Location: Austin office; Hybrid – 3 days in the office

What You'll Do:
- Responsible for preparing various journal entries for any assigned ledger accounts for the monthly close
- Performing regular account analysis and monthly reconciliation
- Assist in month-end activities by performing variance analyses
- Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and review of risk areas
- Process intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and adjustment entries during period end and ensure accuracy of the financial records
- Liaise with the auditors and provide documentation and information, as needed
- Assist in integration projects of the newly acquired (if any) companies into our ERP systems
- Ad hoc projects
What You Bring:
- Able to demonstrate strong critical thinking in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- General understanding of GAAP
- Lease accounting software experience is an asset
- Able to independently analyze financial records and be a clear communicator to the team
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookup formulas
- Self-motivation and desire to continually improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of processes.
- Knowledgeable in Netsuite or a similar ERP is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intellectual curiosity & problem-solving skills a must
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent. CPA enrollment or designation will be
- Minimum 3 years of public accounting experience and/or private company experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookup formulas
Salary:
Salary: $95,000.00 - $112,000.00
*Final salary will be determined based on the candidate's skills and experience level.
