We are seeking Expert-Level Cyber Analysts and Network/Systems Administrators to provide advanced technical, analytical, and operational support to Air Force Sensitive Compartmented Information (AFSCI) network environments in various locations. The candidate will serve as a senior technical authority responsible for network operations, cybersecurity, systems administration, and IT infrastructure modernization across Wing and subordinate SCIF units.
This role requires deep expertise in enterprise networking, cybersecurity compliance, Zero Trust architecture, and mission system support, along with the ability to lead technical initiatives and advise senior leadership.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve the primary System Administrator for Air Force Sensitive Compartmented Information (AFSCI) Networks, supporting all SCIFs and subordinate units.
- Oversee C4I operations, network performance, and system availability across all supported SCIFs
- Deliver full-spectrum network management, including performance, fault, and security management, and user and account management per AFI and MP guidance
- Direct installation configuration, update, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP/VoSIP, TACLANE encryption devices and copper and fiber infrastructure (approx. 500 drops/year)
- Lead installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, and network systems supporting classified operations.
- Administer the configuration and performance of network assets and ensure network infrastructure connectivity through network management toolsets and administrative functions
- Lead complex IT and network integration projects, including monitoring and controlling scope, budget, schedules, and risk management
- Provide Tier I/II help desk support, including senior leadership interaction
- Administer network IP address space, domain name system (DNS), dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP), and Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure
- Support implementation of RMF (Risk Management Framework) and Zero Trust principles.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
This position supports sensitive programs and requires strict adherence to DoD, Air Force, and IC cybersecurity, information assurance, and intelligence oversight standards.
Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Candidates must meet all DOD 8140 462 (Control Systems Security Specialist (Intermediate or higher)) Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) requirements for installing, configuring, maintaining and securing IT hardware & software.
- Demonstrated experience leading network or systems administration, or cybersecurity operations for IC or DoD networks
- Proven experience in enterprise network infrastructure and troubleshooting, systems administration (Windows/Linux environments)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, infrastructure and system administration
- Advanced knowledge of virtualization, cloud computing, and DevSecOps practices
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple domains
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to comply with all DoD, Air Force, and local security and conduct standards
- Ability to complete required training and maintain qualifications throughout the contract
- Availability for CONUS and OCONUS support as mission requirements dictate
- Contractor-provided training and certification upkeep (unless Government-directed)
- Ability to obtain and maintain required program, system, and facility access
Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI eligibility. A CI-scope polygraph may be required for some positions.
Minimum Education: Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR Bachelor’s degree plus 5 additional years of experience (total 20 years)
Minimum Years of Experience: 15 years of experience in network administration, systems administration, or related IT/ISR support roles, with recent experience within the last 2 years.
Required Certifications:
- Must meet DoD 8140.02 / DoDM 8140.03 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification Requirements
- Appropriate DCWF role alignment (e.g., Cyber Defense Analyst, ISSO, Network or Systems Security roles)
- Security+, CASP+, CISSP, CCNP/CCIE, or equivalent certifications
- Certification eligibility prior to contract performance (tracked and reported per Government standards)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in DoD, Air Force, or Intelligence Community networks or systems administration, including AFSCI or AFDCGS network operations
- Advanced expertise in:
- Enterprise network architecture (LAN/WAN, VoIP, fiber/copper)
- Cybersecurity frameworks (RMF, Zero Trust, NIST SP 800-53)
- Scripting/automation (PowerShell, VBScript)
- Network monitoring tools and ITSM platforms
- Windows/Linux server administration
- Expert knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle, IC GovCloud)
- Strong understanding of IC ITE architecture and Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E)
- AF IC CYBER 100 (Expert level)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing and presenting briefings to senior military and civilian leaders (General Officer/SES)

The base salary range for this position is $132k to $224k. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
