Intern - Engineering

Overview Kadant Solutions Division is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented engineering intern to join our team. The intern will assist with design, testing, and development of systems and components, supporting ongoing projects while gaining hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment. Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of parts, assemblies, and systems using CAD software. Conduct basic engineering calculations and simulations to support design decisision. Support testing efforts. Perform data collection, analysis, and documentation of results. Collaborate with corss-functional teams including engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Contribute ideas to improve design processes. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Familiarity with CAD software. Basic understanding of mechnical principles, materials, and manufactuirng processes. Strong proble-solving and communication skiils. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
