Position Details Employment Type: PRN (as needed) Location: Missouri Baptist Medical Center Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Prior healthcare experience preferred Overview Missouri Baptist Medical Center , an acute care hospital in St. Louis County, offers a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. The hospital has a 24-hour adult emergency department and cares for pediatric patients at a separate emergency department in collaboration with St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Anesthesia Technician provides technical support and performs routine duties relevant to the Department of Anesthesia. Responsibilities Maintains the cleanliness of all anesthetic equipment and routinely stocks all anesthesia supplies. Prepares equipment and supplies for use by anesthesiologist and CRNAs and assists as directed. Provides medications for use by anesthesiologist, and works with pharmacist to ensure availability of drugs needed.
