JOB DESCRIPTION

Counter Salesperson with occasional warehouse duties

Do you have what we’re looking for?

  • Customer service or sales experience.
  • Energetic, service-oriented person with a knack for finding solutions that satisfy customers.
  • Efficient and organized who enjoys physical work as well as connecting with people.
  • Alert, a good team player and service driven.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-reliant.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and has due regard for safe working practices.
  • Comfortable working with computers and rolling equipment

Typical duties include:

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Support customers in selecting the right products by answering questions, suggesting complementary or alternative products as needed.
  • Answer phone calls in a professional manner and redirect them if necessary.
  • Keep the counter area clean and organized for optimal customer experience and effective
  • Maintain skills and knowledge of product lines and systems used.
  • When needed, provide assistance to warehouse to:
  • Offload trucks checking quantity and quality of merchandise received immediately reporting any irregularities; stock merchandise. 
  • Prepare customer orders accurately and on time.
  • Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe.
  • Suggest improvements to make the warehouse more functional and efficient.
