Job description

Cryoport Systems is the life science industry’s most trusted provider of supply chain solutions for temperature-sensitive materials, serving biopharmaceutical, IVF and surrogacy and animal health organizations around the world. Cryoport Systems' proprietary Cryoport Express® shippers, Cryoportal® Logistics Management Platform, leading-edge Smartpak Condition Monitoring System and geo-sensing technology paired with unparalleled logistics expertise and 24/7/365 customer support, make Cryoport Systems the end-to-end temperature controlled supply chain partner that you can trust.

Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and looking to grow in a fast-paced logistics environment? We’re hiring a Logistic Center Technician to support our operations in Hoofddorp. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth handling of temperature-controlled shippers and maintaining high standards in warehouse processes.

This is a shift-based role, with two fixed options:
• Early shift: 06:00–15:00
• Day shift: 08:00–17:00
Each shift includes a 1-hour break.

🔧 Your daily duties

  • Receive, inspect, clean, and test temperature-controlled shippers.

  • Process shipments using Cryoportal 2.0 in line with SOPs and work instructions.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper documentation.

  • Operate mechanical equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) safely and efficiently.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support logistics operations.

  • Participate in audits and facility presentations when needed.

If you hold a valid Class B driver’s license and are comfortable driving, you may occasionally support short delivery routes (less than a day) as a back-up driver—only if you’re in agreement.

🧠 What You Bring

  • HAVO or VWO level education.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform frequent physical tasks.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in English and basic computer tools (Chrome/Edge, Microsoft Office).

  • Experience in warehouse operations (pick/pack, inventory control) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with cGMP, GDP, Lean Six Sigma, or Kanban is an advantage.

Join a team that values integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. If you’re ready to make an impact in a growing logistics environment, we’d love to hear from you!
