The ideal candidate will embrace a flexible, multi-disciplinary approach in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engagements with internal stakeholders and end users to identify and deliver solutions to core functional areas and user experiences.

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of product feature development from conception to launch, including testing and iteration.
  • Lead and manage a small team of product managers to collectively drive successful outcomes.
  • Test and review online product upgrades and ensure flawless execution.
  • Own the product roadmap for specific features or segments of the platform, determining prioritization and ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within scope.
  • Communicate effectively with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and align product vision and strategy.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project communication plans, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams such as UX Design, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and other product lines.
  • Investigate bugs and, when appropriate, identify tactical solutions to production issues impacting users.
  • Monitor the performance of product features post-launch and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the team to maintain high standards of work, product quality, and communication.
  • Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape from a business, legal and compliance perspective.
  • Step outside the product realm when appropriate to contribute to the team and overall company mission.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience in product management, preferably within fintech, wealth management, or related industries
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems and pushing initiatives to conclusions through innovative solutions
  • Proven track record of managing technical teams, sprints, and projects, organizing requests and prioritizing, ultimately driving a roadmap
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to write comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Strong interpersonal skills and capable of building relationships to gain buy in and achieve business results
  • Experience with or willingness to become an expert in the alternative investments space, understanding both the product intricacies and wider industry to drive informed decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a results-driven, entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience with agile methodologies and a mindset that embraces quick deployment, learning, and iteration
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage executive management for ideas and resolutions
  • A customer-centric approach, with experience engaging directly with clients to gather insights and feedback and a knack for quick and thoughtful problem solving
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing demands and timelines
  • Desire to grow and take on increasing responsibilities within a rapidly expanding company
  • Experience with alternative investment reporting and interactions with advisors and advisor teams is preferred
