The Opportunity
Adobe is looking for a transformational leader to build and scale our Third-Party (3P) Ecosystem strategy within Corporate Partnerships. This team is one of Adobe’s four key partnership pillars that drives company growth!
The Senior Director, 3P Ecosystem will determine how Adobe grows via ecosystem partnerships by:
Embedding Adobe products across high-growth third-party platforms and distribution channels
Bringing outstanding external capabilities into Adobe’s products to improve customer value and accelerate innovation
This leader will define the vision, operating model, and implementation strategy for Adobe’s broader ecosystem approach — covering outbound distribution partnerships and inbound product enablement partnerships. The role demands an unique blend of strategic insight, partnership knowledge, product intuition, and executive influence.
This is primarily a builder role passionate about crafting net-new value, incubating emerging opportunities, and crafting how Adobe competes and grows through the ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
Build and scale Adobe’s 3P Ecosystem Strategy
Define and implement Adobe’s global 3P ecosystem strategy across outbound distribution and inbound product enablement
Identify, incubate, and scale high-impact ecosystem partnerships that accelerate MAU growth, revenue, and product adoption
Develop scalable collaboration frameworks, operating models, and governance mechanisms throughout the ecosystem
Guide prioritization among partner segments, emerging platforms, and strategic capability areas
Accelerate Growth Through Ecosystem Relationships
Expand Adobe distribution through strategic ecosystem partners across verticals including Social, Gaming, Commerce, and emerging platforms
Lead partnerships that embed Adobe products and experiences natively within third-party environments
Own business outcomes tied to ecosystem growth, including MAU expansion, revenue contribution, and adoption metrics
Maintain and grow existing ecosystem partnerships while raising execution standards and business impact
Drive Product Enablement & Partner Integrations
Work in close partnership with Product and Engineering leaders to find opportunities where third-party capabilities can improve Adobe’s product portfolio
Enable integrations with leading external platforms and AI capabilities spanning areas such as GenAI, voice, video, and productivity
Shape how Adobe incorporates external innovation into its product ecosystem!
Lead Through Cross-Functional Influence
Serve as the primary connector between Corporate Partnerships and Adobe Product organizations
Influence Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and GTM collaborators to align around ecosystem priorities and execution plans
Lead a distributed team spanning ecosystem growth and product enablement functions
Establish clear success metrics tied to partnership incubation, integration depth, MAU growth, and revenue outcomes
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Partnership & Ecosystem Leadership
15+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, product partnerships, ecosystem strategy, or related leadership roles
Proven track record building and scaling complex partnership programs in global technology organizations
Deep expertise structuring and operationalizing large-scale distribution, product integration, and co-innovation partnerships
Experience operating across both outbound ecosystem motions and inbound technology/product partnerships
Strategic & Product Savvy
Solid knowledge of Adobe’s product ecosystem, encompassing Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, and Experience Cloud
Ability to assess ecosystem trends, new platforms, and market changes to uncover long-term strategic opportunities
Experience guiding partner-versus-build decisions in cooperation with Product and Engineering teams
Familiarity with the evolving GenAI ecosystem and its impact on product innovation and distribution models
Executive Influence & Organizational Leadership
Executive presence with experience engaging senior external partners and Adobe SVP/VP leadership
Proven ability to lead through influence across highly matrixed organizations without direct authority
Excellent judgment operating in ambiguous, fast paced environments with incomplete information
Operational Excellence
Experience developing new functions, operating models, and governance frameworks from the ground up
Strong analytical and business judgment with the ability to connect partnership strategy to measurable business outcomes
