THE ROLE

The Toledo Complex includes both the Huntington Center and the Glass City Center, and this role provides operational support across both locations. The Suite Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of premium suite services while ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction and compliance with company standards. This role provides leadership and direction to suite staff, maintains operational efficiency, and supports exceptional food and beverage service throughout all events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with staffing, scheduling, training, coaching, and counseling of suite staff.
  • Supervise daily suite operations while engaging directly with guests to ensure a premium guest experience.
  • Maintain and control high-volume food and beverage inventory.
  • Train and enforce responsible alcohol service practices in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Develop and uphold standards for guest service, sanitation, presentation, and food quality.
  • Ensure all cash-handling, inventory, and operational procedures are properly documented and enforced.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain company service standards, inventory controls, and cash-control procedures.
  • Conduct audits of inventory and product levels, research discrepancies, and complete reconciliations as needed.
  • Support overall premium hospitality operations and assist with additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of state and local health requirements related to food handling and alcohol service.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and move items up and down stairs and ramps.
  • Willingness to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to perform assigned tasks including reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to remain professional and guest-focused in high-volume event environments.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates throughout the Toledo Complex, including warehouse, dock, storage, kitchen, concessions, and event spaces. Team members may work indoors and outdoors depending on event needs. The role may require exposure to varying temperatures, including coolers, freezers, outdoor weather conditions, and high-volume event environments.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS

All team members are expected to practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, and complete company-wide and job-specific safety training.

Team members must:

  • Operate equipment only when properly trained and authorized.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Clean spills and hazards promptly.
  • Report unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Report all workplace injuries and illnesses in the company’s risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day the incident is reported.
