Job Summary
Summary: Responsible for overseeing the daily operations and activities of the anesthesia technical team within a healthcare facility.Does this position require Patient Care? Yes
Essential Functions
-Provide leadership and guidance to the anesthesia technical team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.
-Coordinate the procurement, inventory management, and maintenance of anesthesia equipment, supplies, and medications.
-Ensure availability, functionality, and proper functioning of anesthesia equipment, such as monitors, ventilators, and anesthesia machines.
-Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols for anesthesia technicians, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, safety standards, and best practices.
Qualifications
Education: Associate's Degree Related Field of Study required

Licenses and Credentials
Experience: Anesthesia Technician Experience 3-5 years required and Supervisory Experience 2-3 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of anesthesia equipment, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards governing anesthesia services.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using anesthesia-related software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
