Job description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Bellman to join our team at Constance Ephelia, Seychelles. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and assistance with their arrival and departure. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding people skills, efficiency, and a genuine commitment to creating memorable experiences for our guests in our luxury island resort environment.

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, ensuring a smooth check-in experience
  •  Provide comprehensive information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest satisfaction
  •  Manage guest requests and special requirements with professionalism and attention to detail
  •  Maintain excellent time keeping and respond promptly to guest calls and requests
  •  Assist with concierge services, including restaurant reservations, activity bookings, and transportation arrangements
  • Ensure the lobby and entrance areas remain clean, organised, and welcoming at all times
  •  Collaborate with other hotel departments to resolve guest concerns and ensure seamless service delivery
  •  Demonstrate knowledge of safety procedures and emergency protocols
  •  Maintain professional appearance and conduct in accordance with hotel standards
  •  Support the team during peak periods and special events
  • Proven experience in a bell staff, porter, or similar guest services role within a hospitality setting
  •  Excellent people skills and ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds
  •  Strong physical fitness and stamina to handle luggage and remain on feet for extended periods
  •  Multilingual abilities (desirable, particularly French)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations and guest services
  •  Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  •  Problem-solving abilities and flexibility in responding to guest needs
  •  Professional demeanour and impeccable personal presentation
  •  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, luxury resort environment
  •  Familiarity with hotel management systems and concierge services (desirable)
  •  Valid driving licence (desirable for local transportation assistance)
