Purpose of the Job:

As the IT Project Manager IOT and Business Analyst for MES in APAC, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the current MES infrastructure while spearheading the implementation of a newly acquired MES system. The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of managerial skills, business analysis proficiency, and hands-on experience in MES management and implementation within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage Existing MES:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the current MES to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to maximize system capabilities.
• Address and resolve any issues that may arise with the existing MES, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing processes.

MES Implementation:

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the implementation of a newly acquired MES system across the region.
• Conduct comprehensive business analysis to understand requirements, identify gaps, and ensure the new MES aligns with business objectives.
• Work closely with IT, operations, and other relevant departments to ensure a seamless integration of the new MES into existing manufacturing processes.

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with senior management to align MES strategies with overall business goals.
• Develop and implement regional strategies for optimizing MES performance, reducing downtime, and increasing overall productivity.

Business Analysis:

• Perform detailed business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for MES enhancements and new implementations.

Vendor Management:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with MES vendors and other technology partners.

Performance Monitoring:

• Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of the MES systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, IT, etc.).
• Proven experience in managing MES (preferably GE Proficy MES) in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success in leading the implementation of MES systems.
• Strong business analysis skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and technology trends.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
