Senior Engineer - Process
Salary
Job description
Review and verify process design calculations for sewage treatment plants (STP), pumping stations, and irrigation systems
Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality standards, guidelines, and regulations
Evaluate hydraulic profiles, flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
Assess treatment processes (primary, secondary, tertiary) and recommend improvements
Review contractor’s technical submittals related to process equipment and systems
Verify design reports, method statements, and material submittals
Coordinate with DM for approvals, comments, and design clarifications
Review and respond to RFIs related to process engineering
valuate and inspect installation of process equipment such as: Pumps, blowers, filters, clarifiers Chemical dosing systems Odor control systems
Ensure equipment meets project specifications and performance criteria
Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT)
Monitor installation of process systems to ensure compliance with approved drawings
Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams for interface issues
Conduct site inspections and issue observations/NCRs where required
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
articipate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
Verify system performance against design parameters
Monitor trial runs and process optimization
Ensure proper calibration of instruments and control systems
nsure all works comply with project specifications, DM standards, and international codes
Support QA/QC processes and documentation
Review O&M manuals and as-built documentation
