Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. System Output Analysis & Debugging
- Analyze supply, demand, capacity, and inventory system outputs from planning tools (e.g., APS / ERP / internal planners).
- Identify data inconsistencies, logic breaks, and abnormal planning signals.
- Perform root‑cause analysis on output issues (data, configuration, master data, or process).
- Debug issues by tracing input → logic → output and recommend or implement fixes.
2. Data & Planning Accuracy Improvement
- Validate system inputs such as BOMs, routings, yields, lead times, capacities, and constraints.
- Support correction of master data and planning parameters impacting HDD supply plans.
- Monitor output accuracy vs actuals and flag gaps proactively.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce manual overrides and ad‑hoc fixes.
3. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work with Manufacturing, Operations, Planning, IT, and Business teams to resolve planning issues.
- Translate system issues into clear problem statements for IT or system owners.
- Support planners with fact‑based analysis to make informed decisions.
4. Reporting & Insights
- Build and maintain standard reports, dashboards, and deep‑dive analyses.
- Highlight key risk areas such as capacity shortfalls, inventory risks, or supply mismatches.
- Present findings concisely with recommendations and next steps.
5. Process & System Enhancement
- Document recurring issues, root causes, and fixes.
- Support UAT, enhancements, or new logic rollouts in planning systems.
- Contribute to automation and simplification of planning and analytics workflows.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years relevant work experience in driving programs or projects related to Supply Chain
- Highly proficient in written and oral communications; able to produce concise, relevant, strategically driven documents and presentations to leaders.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to debug complex system outputs.
- Working knowledge of:
- Supply chain planning concepts (Demand, Supply, Capacity, Inventory)
- Advanced Excel (formulas, pivots, lookups; VBA/Power Query is a plus)
- SQL / Python / BI tools (nice to have)
- Experience working with ERP / APS / Planning systems (HDD experience preferred)
