Security Guard

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring access, patrolling assigned areas, and ensuring the protection of people, property, and assets within the facility. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Monitor and control access to the site, including checking identification and logging visitor entries. Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies. Report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards. Ensure compliance with company policies and security procedures. Assist in traffic control and manage entry and exit points when required. Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Previous experience in security or a similar role is preferred. Good observation and communication skills. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively. Basic knowledge of safety and security procedures. Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods. Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
