The Radiology Department at NWHC, provides out-patient and emergency services. Radiology is equipped with DR & PAC's technology. Our patients range from infant to late adulthood. Digital mammography performs screening, diagnostic & diagnostic follow up services. Diagnostic Radiology offers same day service. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Under the supervision of a registered technologist performs imaging procedures to adult and pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Must be currently enrolled in an imaging program.Illinois: Following IEMA guidelines as it pertains to administering radiation/making exposures. Responsibilities Assists the technologist with imaging procedures. Students require direct supervision in surgery. Escorts or transports patients to and from examination area, assists technologist with patient transfers to and from imaging tables, and assists patient as needed. Assists outpatients with completing information necessary to the procedure.
