Barista - All Rounder GYG Unanderra

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Experienced Barista to join our team at our Unanderra location. As an All-Rounder Barista, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional coffee, food service, and customer experiences while maintaining high operational and presentation standards in a fast-paced café environment.

You will work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient daily operations while creating a welcoming atmosphere for every customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, teas, and other drinks consistently and efficiently.
• Provide outstanding customer service and create positive customer interactions.
• Take customer orders accurately using POS systems and handle cash/EFTPOS transactions.
• Assist with food preparation, serving, and presentation in line with food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, coffee machines, equipment, dining areas, and workstations.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation, replenishment, and receiving deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support team members across all areas of café operations during busy periods.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while working under pressure.
• Availability to work between 5:45am till 10am.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a Barista in a busy café or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, milk texturing, latte art, and machine operation.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service focus with a friendly and approachable manner.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
