Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced Palantir Foundry Specialist to support a strategic global client within the Engineering/EPC domain. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions leveraging the Palantir Foundry platform, enabling data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. This high-visibility position demands a candidate with expertise in data engineering, platform development, and stakeholder collaboration, contributing to enterprise transformation initiatives and continuous system improvements.
Software Requirements
Required Software Proficiency:
Palantir Foundry (latest version support) — hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and managing robust data pipelines and applications
Python — proficiency supporting automation, scripting, and model integration (latest version support)
SQL — advanced skills for data modeling, transformation, validation, and loading supporting enterprise data workflows
API integration frameworks supporting ingestion and data exchange support supporting connected systems
Data governance, security, and compliance tools aligned with industry standards
Preferred Software Skills:
Palantir Ontology, Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories supporting version control and operational workflows
Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP supporting deployment and scalability) (preferred)
Data visualization/reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau supporting insight delivery (preferred)
Big Data tools: Apache Spark, Hadoop (supporting large-scale data processing, preferred)
Overall Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and workflows within Palantir Foundry supporting enterprise analytics and data migration projects
Build and configure data models, ontologies, and dashboards supporting operational and strategic decision-making
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data science teams, and technical experts to understand requirements and translate them into effective, scalable solutions
Support data integration, validation, and reconciliation processes supporting compliance and operational resilience
Drive automation of data pipelines, model deployment, and system configuration to support continuous delivery
Support environment setup, system upgrades, and migration activities supporting enterprise growth
Implement data governance and security policies aligned with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR)
Document architecture, workflows, and operational procedures supporting transparency and audit readiness
Technical Skills (By Category)
Languages & Frameworks (Essential):
Python: core language for scripting, automation, and integration support support
Palantir Foundry tools supporting pipeline development, model deployment, and ontology management
Data & Model Management:
Knowledge of data modeling, data lineage, and ontology creation supporting enterprise data governance
Experience with data validation and reconciliation supporting compliance and operational support
Cloud & Infrastructure:
AWS, Azure, or GCP supporting cloud-native environment deployment (preferred)
Tools & Platforms:
Palantir Ontology, Pipeline Builder, and code repositories supporting version control and data workflows

4+ years supporting enterprise data platforms using Palantir Foundry or similar platforms supporting large-scale data integration and analytics in regulated environments
Proven experience designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, compliant data pipelines supporting enterprise decision-making
Hands-on experience with data modeling, ontology management, and data governance
Experience supporting cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) supporting enterprise data strategies (preferred)
Background supporting or implementing automation and deployment workflows supporting enterprise operations in critical industries
Day-to-Day Activities
Develop, validate, and optimize data pipelines, models, and workflows supporting enterprise analytics and migration efforts
Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable and secure solutions supported by Palantir Foundry
Support data migration, environment setup, system upgrades, and continuous automation
Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and security assessments supporting compliance initiatives
Troubleshoot pipeline performance, data discrepancies, and system issues proactively
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, workflows, security controls, and deployment procedures
Support operational workflows including data ingestion, ontology updates, and system enhancements supported by Palantir tools
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related technical disciplines
4+ years supporting enterprise data platforms, with supported experience in Palantir Foundry or similar environments supporting high-volume, compliant data systems
Certifications supporting Palantir Foundry, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), or data governance are a plus
Proven ability to deploy secure, scalable, and compliant data solutions supporting enterprise operations in regulated sectors
Professional Competencies
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills supporting complex data pipelines and model deployment
Leadership and mentorship abilities to guide junior team members and foster best practices in data engineering
Effective stakeholder communication for requirements gathering and operational documentation
Adaptability supporting evolving data standards, cloud integrations, and security protocols
Strategic thinking in designing scalable, secure, and compliant data ecosystems supporting business growth
Organizational skills to manage multiple data flows, ontologies, and system upgrades effectively
