Join Adobe as a Computer Scientist 1 and be part of a world-class team working on Adobe's Digital Imaging (DI) apps, including Lightroom and Photoshop on Android. This outstanding role allows you to own complex features from concept to production while collaborating with different partners across Research, Product, Build, and Engineering!
What you'll do
Implement scalable engineering guidelines with a focus on quality, testing, and scalability.
Make confident scope and priority decisions balancing craft, velocity, and user impact.
Test assumptions early, iterate on feedback, and continuously improve usability, performance, and creative outcomes.
Use AI-assisted coding tools to speed up delivery, critically assessing the output.
Mentor junior team members and share knowledge across team.
What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science / IT with a minimum of 4+ years of Android development experience.
Proven track record in developing Android applications.
Skilled at debugging issues across multiple systems or domains
Proven expertise in architecture and in composing robust, innovative mobile applications.
Experience working with large codebases and comfort writing and debugging multi-threaded and asynchronous code in Android and native Java/C++ libraries.
Strong understanding of mobile resource constraints and ability to implement efficient solutions considering CPU, memory, and battery life.
Even better if you have
Experience with distributed agent runtimes and LLM proxy services.
Comfort building and testing iteratively in production applications.
Shipped creative, image editing, or video applications to the App Store.
Ability to invent new features, influence architecture and solution composition, and contribute at the feature level.
Encourages and motivates others to develop creativity and innovation.
Actively seeks out and learns new technologies and techniques, and advocates for their adoption.
