Your Role
Plan and execute projects in the ophthalmic field (e.g. new products, process improvements, layout).
Define project scope, milestones, schedules including critical path, and resource needs; maintain and update project plans.
Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and activities (R&D, Engineering, Production, QA/RA, Supply Chain, IT, Marketing, external interfaces) in a matrix organization.
Identify and track risks, issues and dependencies; define and follow up on countermeasures and corrective actions to achieve targets.
Manage change requests and assess their impact on time, cost, and quality.
Prepare and lead project meetings; document decisions, actions, and progress. Create and consolidate management-ready presentations in alignment with project leadership. Maintain the high-level governance of the project.
Provide clear, structured status reports and decision proposals for stakeholders and management.
Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements in collaboration with QA/RA.
Your Profile
University degree or university of applied sciences degree in engineering, natural sciences, business administration, or a related field.
Advanced years of experience in project management or project coordination, ideally in optics, ophthalmics, medical technology, or a comparable industrial environment.
Solid project management skills: planning, tracking, risk and issue management, basic budgeting.
Basic understanding of or strong interest in ophthalmic lenses/eyewear optics and related manufacturing processes.
Awareness of quality and regulatory requirements for optical/medical products (experience with MDR/ISO is a plus).
Proficient with project and collaboration tools (e.g. MS Project or equivalent, Excel, PowerPoint, MS 365; Jira/Confluence is an advantage).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; confident in collaborating with technical and non-technical partners.
Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented way of working; high level of ownership and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
