Automatic Door Technician & Glazier Flynn Group of Companies Summary: Install, service, and repair automatic doors, glass systems, and related hardware in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings. Provide reliable customer service while ensuring safe, high-quality work. Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, and repair automatic sliding, swinging, revolving, and specialty door systems Perform glazing work including storefronts, curtain walls, insulated units, tempered glass, and door lite replacements Respond to 24‑hour emergency service calls on a rotating schedule, providing safe and efficient on‑site solutions Conduct preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and system upgrades Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hardware issues with accuracy Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications Maintain detailed service reports, documentation, and customer communication Uphold company standards for professionalism, safety, and workmanship Requirements: Experience in construction, glazing, or door systems (preferred) Knowledge of automatic doors and low-voltage systems is an asset Ability to read basic drawings/blueprints Strong customer service and communication skills Valid driver’s license Comfortable with physical work, heights, and outdoor conditions
