We are looking for a detail-oriented, deadline-driven Marketing Project Manager with the ability to seamlessly move deliverables from kickoff through tactical execution. This position is the hub of all activity within the Marketing/Creative department, serving as the liaison between Marketing and other departments. This person will be responsible for the daily flow of projects in our industry-leading, multi-function Marketing department, driving cross-channel project management, creating and scheduling workstream timelines, managing project status meetings, and facilitating reporting. This role will require managing a high volume of projects from ideation to campaign concept to channel rollout.

Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, requirements, timelines, goals, and deliverables for all marketing projects; input clear direction into a Project Management System (we use ClickUp)
  • Develop project plans, facilitate project meetings, assign tasks, identify and communicate issues, and recommend resolutions
  • Work with Multimedia team to facilitate needs on photo and video shoots in studio and on-site
  • Own all work-in-progress; stay connected with the team, escalate concerns/risks, and update timelines and expectations as needed
  • Report project status, reviews, and results to the core team, management, and stakeholders as needed
  • Coordinate creative traffic management of in-house resources; source and manage vendors in the rare case the need arises
  • Drive schedules of cross-functional teams with consideration of priority, time, budget, meeting cadence, risk, deliverables, and resources
  • Organize and process asset folders, maintaining systems for both project flow and file storage for all creative projects
  • Event support in advanced planning, development, and resourcing as needed
  • Prepare and package projects for publishing, promoting, and distributing to the appropriate internal team members and external viewers
  • Build relationships with peers and partners throughout the company
  • Meet with cross-functional stakeholders to assess upcoming projects, timelines, and deliverables
  • Communicate with the team to ensure they have what they need to complete projects on time and on budget with high quality expectations
  • Foster collaborative and results-driven communication across all groups to drive alignment, best practices sharing, and maximized program efficacy
  • Develop, manage, and improve processes when inefficiencies are identified
  • Assist with time allocation and resource management
  • Prepare for and lead weekly project status meetings, identifying risks and shifting priorities as needed
  • Work alongside Marketing leadership to develop a framework for measuring ROI effectiveness and dive deep into data to communicate results
  • Conduct post-project debriefs to review outcomes, then document and implement lessons learned

Qualifications

  • Ability to achieve results through multiple stakeholders across departments
  • Excellent project management oversight abilities with a strong voice to drive forward multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously in ambiguous and changing environments
  • Strong listening skills as well as excellent people and management skills to interact with a wide variety of internal stakeholders and external partners
  • In-depth understanding of the marketing landscape, including the use of project management tools (ClickUp experience a plus) and Adobe Creative Suite, plus have an interest in staying on top of new developments/changes
  • Hyper-organized with a proven ability to drive successful project completion on time
  • You relentlessly pursue excellence and have a high attention to detail ensuring spelling/grammar mistakes are caught before projects go for review
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills while bringing a positive energy to the team
  • A desire to improve, grow, and educate yourself, whether it’s your marketing skills or personal goals
  • You are proactive and demonstrate strong initiative, driving new projects and managing workstreams that are not basic, turn-key projects, coming to your manager with solutions, options, and recommendations
  • Results-oriented with ability to increase the efficiency and productivity of the creative team
  • A joy for creative problem solving and innovative thinking

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications or relevant field
  • 3+ years in project management experience
  • PMP or other Project Management Certification preferred
