About the role The Systems team is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting the technology infrastructure. This includes, but not limited to, storage, networking, workstations, cloud, virtualisation and rendering. We invest time into training and mentoring. Framestore awaits you! What you’ll do: The Systems Support Administrator will be part of the Systems Support team. They act as an escalation point for the IT Support team which is also part of the Systems Support team supporting studios across North America. Escalation support for all incidents and requests using JIRA service desk Support of storage requests Monitors and maintains a variety of physical and logical systems Administration of the OS images and Linux/Windows application packages. Management of the Licences servers and services Support of the Render farm (software) Support and administration of enterprise storage platforms and file systems. Monitor system health, performance, and infrastructure alerts using monitoring tools such as Grafana and Nagios. Works independently and in teams on administrative and technical projects Produce and update documentation using Confluence Collaborate with other technology teams on various projects and to support artists workflows and production requirements You will partake in an on-call rotation to provide support outside working hours.
