Position Summary : The woodworker shop operator and frame builder is responsible for operating and maintaining various woodworking machines like saws, sanders, drill presses to cut, shape wood components according to specifications, ensuring quality, and safety standards from patterns. Combining the ability of woodworking skills to assemble furniture frames and bases following detailed specifications. Key Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities: Capability to interpret production tickets along with any specific instructions Utilize equipment and machinery including tape measures, large staple guns, screwdrivers, grinders, bandsaws, drills, and levels Must ensure that all specifications for the order are fulfilled Assemble pre-cut wooden components Construct bases for furniture Competent in operating a bandsaw for cutting legs and similar tasks Transport frames from the workstation to the storage area Maintain a clean and organized workstation Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
