HITT Contracting is seeking a relationship-driven and highly organized Corporate Recruiter to support full cycle recruiting for Corporate Resources positions across the organization. Based out of our headquarters in Falls Church, VA, this role supports hiring across HITT’s 16 office locations nationwide and partners closely with corporate hiring leaders across the business. Recruiting efforts will support a broad range of corporate and business support functions including Human Resources, IT, Accounting & Finance, Legal & Compliance, Marketing, Enterprise Business Solutions, Insurance & Risk Management, and Administrative Services.
This is an associate-level recruiting role best suited for someone looking to deepen their experience within a fast-paced, high-performing environment. The role requires strong ownership, initiative, organization, and responsiveness while managing full cycle recruiting across multiple searches simultaneously. Responsibilities span the full recruiting lifecycle, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate management, offer development and negotiation, and hiring process execution across a wide range of positions and levels. Success in the role requires balancing hiring urgency with HITT’s high standards for candidate quality, communication, team fit, and overall experience throughout the hiring process.

The ideal candidate is thoughtful and thorough in intake conversations, communicates proactively, follows through consistently, and builds strong working relationships across a wide range of teams and leaders. You are comfortable providing recommendations and market perspective while helping hiring managers navigate hiring priorities, staffing needs, and recruiting decisions with professionalism and sound judgment. While prior construction industry experience is not required, experience sourcing within industries where proactive outreach and relationship-building are important will be highly valuable.
This position is expected to work onsite four days per week. Responsibilities
Full Cycle Recruiting & Hiring Partnership
Lead full cycle recruiting for Corporate Resources positions across a variety of functional areas and levels
Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from intake through offer acceptance across a high volume of concurrent searches
Recruit for a broad range of corporate functions including Human Resources, IT, Accounting & Finance, Legal & Compliance, Marketing, Enterprise Business Solutions, Insurance & Risk Management, Administrative Services, Facilities & Fleet, and related business support areas
Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, organizational structure, team dynamics, and desired candidate profiles
Lead thoughtful intake discussions to understand business context, technical requirements, interpersonal dynamics, and long-term hiring needs for each search
Lead sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, offer development, and hiring process execution across assigned searches
Maintain strong organization and responsiveness while balancing multiple priorities, hiring timelines, and stakeholder needs simultaneously
Drive recruiting processes forward efficiently while maintaining HITT’s high standards for candidate quality, team fit, communication, and overall hiring experience
Build strong working relationships with corporate leaders and hiring teams, serving as a trusted recruiting partner throughout the hiring process
Help hiring managers navigate hiring priorities, market realities, and resource constraints while balancing urgency with thoughtful, high-quality hiring decisions aligned with HITT’s culture and values
Provide candid recommendations and market perspective throughout the recruiting process, including candidate evaluation, search strategy, and hiring expectations
Adapt recruiting approaches across teams and leaders with different hiring styles, organizational structures, and business needs
Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development
Build proactive candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, LinkedIn Recruiter, and targeted outreach strategies
Develop sourcing approaches tailored to different functions, hiring teams, and experience levels
Support proactive pipeline development for recurring or hard-to-fill corporate roles
Develop long-term relationships with candidates and talent communities aligned with HITT’s hiring needs
Provide market insight related to talent availability, compensation trends, competitor activity, and recruiting challenges across corporate functions
Candidate Experience & Recruiting Operations
Maintain a strong focus on relationship-building, responsiveness, professionalism, and communication throughout the candidate experience
Coordinate and manage interview scheduling, feedback collection, offer development, and hiring communication
Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate data within Workday and related recruiting systems
Partner with Recruiting and HR leadership to improve recruiting workflows, hiring processes, and operational consistency
Support recruiting reporting, pipeline tracking, and recruiting metrics as needed
Ensure compliance with hiring practices, employment regulations, and internal recruiting standards
Collaboration & Team Contribution
Partner closely with HITT’s recruiting team to share market insights, sourcing strategies, and recruiting best practices
Collaborate with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to support broader talent initiatives and organizational priorities
Support employer branding and recruiting outreach efforts that strengthen HITT’s visibility within corporate and professional talent markets
Serve as a trusted recruiting partner across the organization, building strong relationships with leaders, candidates, and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
2–5+ years of recruiting experience required, including experience recruiting for corporate, professional services, or business support functions
Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume full cycle recruiting across multiple functions and searches simultaneously
Experience partnering directly with hiring leaders and managing recruiting processes across varied teams, personalities, and business needs strongly preferred
Demonstrated success managing full cycle recruiting across multiple functions and levels
Strong intake, discovery, and relationship management skills, with the ability to ask thoughtful questions and build credibility with hiring leaders
Comfortable providing recommendations, influencing hiring discussions, and navigating competing priorities in a collaborative and professional way
Strong sourcing skills including LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, and direct outreach strategies
Ability to quickly learn and recruit across a variety of specialized business functions and team environments
Ability to build credibility and strong working relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and cross-functional stakeholders
Strong judgment and ability to assess both technical qualifications and long-term team fit
Excellent communication, organization, and relationship management skills
Strong organizational and process management skills, with the ability to balance speed, responsiveness, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Experience using applicant tracking systems required; Workday experience strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and operational organization
Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion while handling sensitive or confidential information
Prior construction industry recruiting experience is a plus, particularly for roles requiring proactive sourcing and relationship-driven outreach strategies
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, adaptability, and accountability
