Job description
Quality & Food Safety Management
- Ensure effective implementation and ongoing compliance of QMS/FSMS and relevant certifications across asset operations in accordance with internal procedures, applicable regulatory codes, standards, and customer requirements. Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders internally and externally, and actively drive site implementation to achieve company quality and food safety objectives.
Laboratory & Technical Governance
- Establish and maintain good laboratory management systems to ensure effective operations, data integrity and reliable test results. Develop, validate and implement complex analytical methods and procedures aligned with emerging technologies and customer expectations.
- Establish and implement factory quality control and monitoring programs, covering from raw materials, in‑process controls to finished products. Drive all departments to understand, implement and consistently enforce quality control requirements.
- Lead and manage the department’s annual budget and expenditure, quantify costs and business benefits of change initiatives, and ensure effective control of fixed assets, laboratory equipment and consumables.
Regulatory, Certification & Supplier Management
- Take full responsibility for the application, renewal, surveillance and audit of production licenses, permits, quality and food safety management systems, and product certifications. Lead quality and food safety assessments for new businesses and new products, and ensure appropriate licensing and regulatory approvals. Establish and continuously improve supplier quality and food safety management programs.
Non‑Conformance, Incident & Continuous Improvement
- Lead preventive and corrective quality and food safety management relating to customer complaints, incidents and accidents. Ensure timely root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and drive continuous improvement for non‑conformities related to raw materials, in‑process controls and finished products.
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in current quality and business processes, propose and implement sustainable improvements.
Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
- Comply with and actively implement the company SHE policies, procedures and mandatory requirements. Ensure effective SHE management in all laboratory operations.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead team objective setting, performance management and capability development. Allocate work effectively, review progress and outcomes, and take corrective actions to ensure delivery with the required quality and timelines.
- Organize and facilitate effective cross‑functional communication to strengthen collaboration and operational efficiency. Act as the key interface for local regulatory authorities, leading regulatory inspections, audits and official engagements.
