Position Summary:

NeighborHealth is seeking an Employee Health, Leave & Compliance Coordinator to support employee health compliance, leave administration, workers' compensation coordination, and related HR benefit processes. This
role is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage confidential information, coordinate with employees and leaders, and keep complex compliance workflows moving accurately and on
time.

What You'll Do
The Employee Health, Leave & Compliance Coordinator supports accurate tracking, documentation, communication, and follow-up for employee health requirements, leave of absence processes, workers' compensation claims, and other HR benefit activities. The successful candidate will be able to perform the following responsibilities:

Employee Health

  • Monitor and track employee health compliance, including immunizations, TB screening and clearance, annual health requirements, occupational exposure follow-up, and return-to-work clearance in 
  • collaboration with Employee Health clinical staff.
  • Maintain accurate employee health records in systems such as Workday and Epic; reconcile discrepancies and support data integrity across employee health records and HR systems.
  • Generate reports, dashboards, and compliance updates for internal leadership, regulatory reporting, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support Employee Health and Infection Control activities, including policy updates, staff communication, training support, documentation follow-up, and implementation of workflow improvements.

Human Resources

  • Serve as the primary coordinator for employee leave of absence processes, including FMLA, Massachusetts PFML, short-term and long-term disability, personal leaves, medical leaves, and workers compensation.
  • Track and manage leave requests from initiation through return to work, including documentation collection, Workday entry, leave status updates, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and organizational requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate workers' compensation claims from initial report through claim closure, including documentation collection, claim status tracking, communication with the workers' compensation carrier or third-party administrator, and follow-up with employees, managers, Employee Health, and HR.
  • Track workers' compensation-related work status, restrictions, lost time, modified duty needs, medical documentation, and return-to-work planning in collaboration with Employee Health, HR, and department leadership.
  • Act as a liaison between employees, managers, HR, and Employee Health to communicate leave status, documentation requirements, return-to-work expectations, and clearance needs.
  • Monitor leave and workers' compensation trends and generate reports to support compliance, leadership awareness, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support employees with questions related to benefits, leave processes, workers' compensation processes, and required documentation, providing clear and timely guidance.
  • Assist with audits related to leave administration, workers' compensation, and employee health compliance.

  • Interact with staff in a professional, service-oriented manner while maintaining confidentiality of employee and patient information.
  • Participate in required departmental and organizational activities, trainings, and meetings.
  • Follow established policies and procedures for safety, infection control, privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Promote teamwork through self-direction, initiative, customer service, and effective problem-solving.
  • Comply with all Standards of Conduct, Joint Commission requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.

Salary: Starting at $26/hr up to $39/hr based on experience
