• Supports issue resolution during construction to maintain schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
________________________________________
Standards Development & Continuous Improvement
• Helps develop, maintain, and continuously improve MEPF design and construction standards, with a focus on system reliability, lifecycle cost, energy performance, and maintainability.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance standardization, efficiency, and overall building performance across the portfolio.
• Evaluates and supports the implementation of new technologies and solutions that improve operational outcomes.
________________________________________
Facilities Engineering & Operations Support
• Supports facility operations and maintenance initiatives related to MEPF infrastructure across the portfolio.
• Participates in inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) programs to ensure building systems remain safe and functional.
• Assists with vendor management, contract performance oversight, and service delivery improvements.
• Contributes to capital planning efforts, including preparation of project budgets and capital expense plans.

Travel Requirements
This role requires frequent travel (approximately 50–60%), typically consisting of two-night trips during the workweek, three or more weeks per month. Travel is primarily by air within PNC’s footprint, with a focus on supporting operations and growth in National Expansion Markets. This position is eligible for a PNC-provided vehicle for business-related travel.
________________________________________
Work Location & Flexibility Expectations
This position is not a fully remote or work-from-home role. The selected candidate will be assigned a primary office location and is expected to maintain a regular in-office presence when not traveling, consistent with business needs and team expectations.
Given the extensive travel requirements of the role, PNC recognizes the need for reasonable flexibility in work arrangements. The employee is expected to remain actively engaged in their responsibilities, including project work, design reviews, collaboration, and operational support activities. This role requires consistent availability for both in-person and virtual collaboration, and the ability to work effectively across geographically dispersed teams.
PNC supports a results-driven work environment and does not rely on strict time tracking. Employees are expected to manage their schedules responsibly to meet performance expectations. Reasonable flexibility is provided to accommodate personal needs during the workday, particularly in recognition of the demands associated with frequent travel. However, this flexibility does not change the expectation that the role maintains full-time engagement and accountability when not traveling.

Company Growth Context
PNC is executing a multi-year strategy to expand its national retail banking presence through significant investment in its physical branch network and entry into new and high-growth markets, including Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Orlando, Raleigh, San Antonio, Tampa, Nashville, Chicago, Sarasota, and Winston-Salem. This includes plans to open more than 300 new branches by 2030, while continuing to renovate existing locations and strengthen the in-person customer experience. This expansion is further supported by targeted growth initiatives and strategic acquisitions that reinforce PNC’s position as a national, coast-to-coast franchise.

PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. We encourage candidates to connect with their recruiter and hiring manager to understand workplace expectations and ensure the role aligns with their goals.
