Job description
We are a small, fast-moving marketing team shipping campaigns, content, and events at startup speed. This part-time internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full marketing mix of an industrial AI go-to-market team, supporting day-to-day activities that keep the marketing engine running.
This role reports to the Head of Marketing, NexusBlack.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Planning
- Help build and maintain the LinkedIn content calendar.
- Draft post copy, source visuals, and track performance against our content pillars.
Website Launch Support
- Support the nexusblack.com rebuild by QA-ing pages, uploading assets, and proofreading copy.
- Track launch tasks against the Phase 1–2 timeline to ensure deadlines are met.
Content Research and AEO
- Build and maintain a content calendar.
- Execute first drafts of content pieces using GenAI tools and market research.
Shadowing and Participation
- Sit in on marketing, product, and sales calls to observe how an industrial AI go-to-market team operates.
- Take notes, capture action items, and gradually take on a speaking role as you ramp up.
Swag and Event Logistics
- Own swag inventory and ordering — sourcing items, managing vendors, and tracking shipments to events and customers.
- Ensure the team is always equipped for conferences and customer engagements.
File and Asset Organisation
- Keep our SharePoint, shared drives, and campaign folders clean, navigable, and version-controlled.
- Establish and enforce a folder taxonomy that scales as the team grows.
SharePoint Administration
- Become the team's go-to person for IFS SharePoint sites — knowing where content lives, building pages, and helping teammates find what they need quickly.
Campaign Updates
- Post weekly campaign status updates across internal channels (Teams, SharePoint) to keep sales, product, and leadership informed on what is shipping and what is next.
Who You Are:
- Organised and detail-oriented — you genuinely enjoy structure, naming conventions, and tidy systems.
- A sharp, concise writer with an eye for detail and brand consistency.
- Comfortable working in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook); familiarity with HubSpot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or any CMS is a bonus.
- Curious about B2B marketing, AI, and industrial software — or eager to learn fast.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate programme in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
