Job Overview Fairview is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Operations to support operations across our Midway Corporate Campus and. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible leadership position responsible for overseeing supply chain strategy, operational performance, inventory management, vendor relationships, and process improvement initiatives across assigned locations. The Director will partner closely with hospital and system leadership to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and customer-focused supply chain operations that support high-quality patient care. This role will also lead and mentor supply chain team members while driving operational excellence, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. Typical hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with flexibility required to meet operational and customer needs. Position has complete responsibility for assigned hospitals and clinics supply chain, logistics processes and systems to assure that care is fully supplied and supported at all times. Directs the activities, staff, and budgets for supply chain for multiple hospitals. Responsible to oversee daily activity of all logistics processes including transportation, preparation of surgical case carts and instruments, internal distribution of supplies, management of inventory, appropriate staging of products for consumption, receiving, decontamination, product disposition, and mail room. Represents supply chain related issues with system customers and the corporate supply chain team. Lead, participate and support both local and system strategic initiatives in the areas of customer service improvement, cost reductions, process improvements, inventory management, projects, and other initiatives. Responsible for leading supply expense variance analysis, identifying cost drivers and partner with leaders to implement cost saving projects. Coordinates extensively with senior leadership and department directors to maximize service levels and minimize costs. Provide leadership and overall accountability for assigned focus areas which could include: customer service, compliance, site development, , management, training or others as assigned. This individual is expected to collaborate with other leaders and support system standardization removing variance in processes, increasing efficiency and service levels, and decreasing costs.
