Overview If you’re the friend who sends viral TikToks before anyone else, knows what’s trending on Instagram before it hits the news, and can turn a comment section into a vibe, this role is for you. At Foot Locker Europe, you’ll be the mastermind behind our community vibes and basically our tone of voice guardian - jumping into TikTok challenges, sparking conversations on IG, and keeping our channels fresh and fun. All daily tasks will be as directed by the Social Media Manager. This includes, but is not limited to, creation of the social media calendar, scheduling, community management, copywriting and reporting. We are looking for someone that can spot the cringe a mile away and run the complete other direction. Responsibilities 1. Community Management (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) Reactive community management • Actively monitoring comments and DMs on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. • Fueling conversations in our comment sections in a brand-safe, on-tone, and culturally relevant way. • Managing sensitive or escalated comments and flagging issues to the Social Media team when needed. Proactive community management • Engaging with: -Vendor and partner pages -Passion-point communities (sneaker, culture, basketball, etc.) -Friends of the brand -Relevant and viral creator content in the sneaker and fashion space -Expanding Foot Locker’s visibility and relevance by thoughtfully participating in wider conversations. GEO collaboration • Coordinating community management efforts with GEO teams where relevant. • Ensuring alignment in tone of voice, escalation processes, and key moments. Campaign support • Developing and executing a dedicated community management approach (together with the Social Media team) for Vendor and Brand campaigns. • Working closely with the central Social Media team to ensure a consistent rollout and response strategy. 2. Scheduling & Copywriting • Scheduling social content across platforms in collaboration with the Social Media team. • Tagging content in Sprinklr/Brandwatch for accurate reporting. • Writing and adapting platform-native copy aligned with brand tone, cultural moments, and community insights. • Quality-controlling that all content goes live correctly and on time. • Flagging any issues or delays proactively. 3. Reporting & Insights • Delivering clear weekly community and performance updates, including: -Overall performance on all channels -Competitor and industry monitoring -Spotting emerging social and cultural trends relevant to Foot Locker and our audience. -Translating insights into actionable recommendations for content and community strategy. 4. Creative Contribution TikTok & short-form ideation • Spotting trends, formats, and fun concepts suitable for Foot Locker EU. • Translating these ideas into clear, creative and actionable briefings for filming. Broadcast Channel • Proactively concepting ideas to keep the broadcast channel engaging and relevant. • Strengthening the always-on layer with creative, community-driven content to maintain momentum and consistency. 5. Operational support Supporting the Social Media team with ad-hoc operational requests, including store requests and warehouse orders.
