DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer, located in Thailand
This role is responsible for providing technical support on field service engineering for DePuy Synthes in Thailand. The incumbent will develop and drive a high value customer centric field service strategies to ensure service excellence for capital and systems.
Responsibilities
Field Service Operations & Execution
Meets key performance measures, targets, and objectives to produce leading-edge Field Service Engineering solutions that enhance the organization’s competitive advantage and brand recognition.
Ensure timely, effective installation, maintenance, repair, and support of DePuy Synthes equipment.
Manages assigned Field Service Engineering tasks to support ongoing business growth and expansion.
Ensures service performance (e.g. responsiveness, quality, cost efficiency, customer satisfaction)
Quality, Compliance & Risk Management
Consistently applies protocols to ensure adherence to safety and regulatory compliance, company standards, operational requirements, and customer-specific business needs.
Ensure full compliance with Quality Management System, local regulations, safety standards, and customer requirements.
Support investigations, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives related to field service activities.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Drive improvements in field service processes, productivity, asset utilization, inventory, and cost management.
Conduct regular reviews and updates of the maintenance procedures and systems to ensure the service quality and work standards consistently meet expectations and requirements
Ensure renewal of all mandatory license and certificates in a timely manner
Stakeholder & Business Partnership
Support key customer engagements and escalations reinforcing DePuy Synthes’ reputation for service excellence and technical expertise
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or equivalent) required.
3+ years of experience in Field Service Engineering, Technical Service, or Operations within MedTech / Medical Devices.
Proven experience in a service environment working with customers to resolve problems related to capital equipment including medical diagnostic equipment and surgical robotic equipment or related.
Good understanding of medical device servicing, lifecycle management, and quality requirements.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
