About the role
As a Brand Manager, you will be responsible for select core brands within the business portfolio. You will oversee the effective deployment of global strategies and execute across all areas of the marketing mix to achieve short-term and long-term brand sales and profit objectives. The purpose of the role is to develop and implement marketing plans for assigned products within allocated budget in accordance with marketing strategies to achieve market share objectives.
A day in the life
- Responsible for driving consumer marketing activities to achieve share, sales and profit growth for brands in the OTC category.
- Develop, adapt, and refine strategic direction for brand, grounded in consumer and customer insights. This includes brand strategy and brand plan development based on deep understanding and comprehensive analysis of all factors influencing brand equity building and brand financial results delivery.
- Drive annual brand strategy & planning process in line with category & OU guidelines, execute and amplify marketing calendar according to approved brand plan including tracking and evaluation of results.
- Responsible for artwork execution of the respective portfolio.
- Execute in-market new product launches.
- Adapt actionable local insights with the Cluster teams (consumer, shopper, expert) to generate locally relevant Task Maps.
- Activate and consistently deploy winning claims working closely with area, regulatory, medical and activation teams.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proven track record of involvement in complex projects with successful outcomes
- Exposure working with cross functional teams
- Experience in leading successful innovation launches in marketing, implementing of brand plans.
- Proven ability to translate global, regional and category strategies to local needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in brand management within a multinational FMCH/FMCG environment.
- Experience working in the OTC category.
