Systems Engineer, Middleware

Middleware Infrastructure Engineers ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of web and application server tiers. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all web and application servers assigned. The Middleware Infrastructure Engineer will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems.

JOB ROLE SUMMARY
 

Middleware Infrastructure Engineers ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of web and application server tiers. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all web and application servers assigned. The Middleware Infrastructure Engineer will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Brings prior experience to organize and define work for complex or ambiguous situations.
Provides consultation, training, and knowledge sharing to associates
Actively contributes to the domain body of knowledge
Resolve issues, manage workload, and balance priorities through frequent interruptions while meeting specific, time-sensitive deadlines
Mentors others with less experience
Creates solutions to meet the company's SLAs and client expectations
Anticipates needs of clients and sets direction for supported middleware infrastructure upgrades
Provides thought leadership for overall middleware infrastructure support at the enterprise level
Defines and coordinates the roll out of complex upgrade plans
Defines the middleware infrastructure architecture
Establish guidelines, policies and audit procedures

• BizTalk Server (2009 and higher) administration
• Deploy BizTalk Server applications
• Manage application configuration using binding files
• Configure BizTalk Receive Ports and Receive Locations
• Configure BizTalk Send Ports and Send Port Groups
• Securely manage passwords using SSO Affiliate Applications
• Enable message security using pipelines
• Understanding of Troubleshooting, Installation, configuration and deployment of BizTalk Server 2009
• Automate BizTalk Server management tasks using BTSTask and PowerShell scripts
• Implementation and Post implementation validation for new development and enhancement efforts
• Technical experience of Windows  server, Linux , AWS
