Your role as a leader

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Test Manager to join our Wellington team. In this leadership role, you will help shape the future of testing and quality engineering, driving innovation and supporting digital transformation across a range of complex client environments.

You will play a key role in delivering quality outcomes across client engagements while also contributing to the growth of our Quality Engineering (QE) practice. This includes developing high-performing teams, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the pursuit of new opportunities.

The impact you’ll make

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients and vendors through delivery excellence, thought leadership, and market presence
  • Manage project delivery, including planning, budgets, risks, and reporting
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams, driving a culture of continuous improvement and quality
  • Translate complex testing data into meaningful insights, providing clear recommendations and articulating risks and value to senior stakeholders
  • Facilitate client workshops and stakeholder engagements, helping teams navigate complex challenges and align to programme goals
  • Apply Deloitte and industry-leading Quality Engineering frameworks to uplift testing capability and delivery standards
  • Solve complex business challenges by designing fit-for-purpose testing solutions
  • Drive continuous learning and adoption of emerging tools, practices, and methodologies
  • Manage QE resources across local and global delivery teams
  • Provide testing advisory services, including process optimisation and quality uplift across programmes

Your expertise

  • Proven Test Manager with 8+ years’ experience delivering and scaling enterprise testing capability across Oracle Cloud, ServiceNow or Large ERP Transformation Programmes particularly in government or enterprise environments 
  • Expertise in end-to-end test management, including strategy, planning, execution, governance, and executive reporting 
  • Hands-on leader with experience building and leading QA and technical test teams 
  • Deep experience across the full testing lifecycle: unit, system, integration, UAT, regression, performance, API, and data validation 
  • Proven delivery across Agile, hybrid, and traditional methodologies, including multi-vendor environments 
  • Experience supporting cloud transformations, including cutover, data migration validation, and business readiness 
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ALM, and enterprise test management solutions, including environment and defect management 
  • Strong capability in integration and API testing across complex system landscapes 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels 
  • Commercially aware, with experience working in consulting or client-facing environments 
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience) in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
