Azure Cloud Engineer

At DXC we are looking for a Azure Cloud Engineer to join our great team of Cloud.

Tasks:

• Support the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of Cloud platforms (Azure) and related infrastructure components such as compute, storage, and networking

• Assist in the implementation of Cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with design and operational requirements

• Monitor and support the operational performance, availability, and capacity of Cloud environments

• Provide Level 2 support and contribute to issue resolution, escalating when needed

• Support the deployment of new services and enhancements within existing Cloud infrastructure

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes, automation, and platform reliability

Requirements:

• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS and/or PaaS services)

• Hands-on experience or exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform)

• Basic knowledge of infrastructure fundamentals (networking, virtual machines, storage, security concepts)

• Understanding of Cloud operations and support environments

• Familiarity with version control (e.g. Git) and CI/CD concepts

• Strong willingness to learn and develop in Cloud technologies

• Good communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have:

• Exposure to containers (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)

• Experience with monitoring or logging tools

Valued certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administration Associate (AZ-104)

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solution Architect Expert (AZ-305)
