About the role

Job Summary
The Sr. Logistics Officer is responsible for managing logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. This role supports logistics planning and optimization across the supply chain. This job profile is intended for experienced professionals who apply practical knowledge of a job area and work independently with general supervision.

This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility: Small, Medium, Large organization.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate logistics activities including inbound and outbound transportation.
Monitor warehouse operations and ensure inventory accuracy.
Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve delivery issues.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Maintain logistics documentation and performance metrics.
Skills & Qualifications
Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and at least 3–4 years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills) are minimally required to carry out the role.

Additional qualifications:

Experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse operations.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
