Why This Role Matters:
This role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations by delivering engineering solutions for production equipment and processes across manufacturing facilities in EMEA. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing systems across critical areas such as Mixing, Component Preparation or Curing.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and support capital projects from specification and design through onsite installation and commissioning in EMEA
Support technology projects by developing technical solutions aligned with product and process requirements
Provide manufacturing plant support by collecting and analyzing data to support operational decisions
Coordinate project activities to ensure compliance with global Goodyear standards
Collaborate with regional teams to identify, develop, and implement best practices across EMEA plants
Manage project execution using structured tools, including risk identification and mitigation
Develop and maintain strong relationships with equipment suppliers and external partners
What We’re Looking For:
Basic qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Science/Technology/Engineering field), with 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or capital project environments
Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and work with plant/machinery layouts
Experience working with vendors and supporting equipment specification, installation, and commissioning
Experience in cross-functional project delivery within manufacturing environments
Good communication skills in English
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical) and knowledge of machinery systems including PLCs, sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Understanding of machine safety standards, risk assessments, and functional safety principles
