Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • head-media HAMR laser -magnetic recording physics investigation;
  • cooperate with US head-media design team to understand the key feature of new head-media, investigate head-media performance by design of experiments, data characterization and physic FA. Provide fast response and constructive suggestion /feedback to design team; 
  • work closely with testing HW/SW team to get their support on enable special HW/SW testing request; 
  • Work together with Thailand DOE team to make whole DOE testing smoothly , support for special engineer test and head FA.  
  • ADC Head-media ADC DEMO: demonstrate head-media capacity of each qualter by applying new feature of head-media design and detailed characterization

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Master degree or above in applied physics, optics, electrical engineering, materials science and other related disciplines;
  • Preference will be given to those who have internship experience or interest in hard disk storage and laser-related fields;
  • Strong ability to analyze problems independently, explore the root causes of problems take corrective measures;
  • Enthusiastic about research and exploration of physical mechanisms, strong learning ability;
  • Excellent data analysis skills, including data processing, statistical analysis and data understanding;
  • Highly self-motivated, keen to troubleshoot and solve complex problems;
  • Good English communication skills;
  • Be responsible in doing things.
