Job description
In this role, you will create value by:
- Leading client assurance and audit engagements and providing guidance and support to other members of the team in the areas of cyber security assessment and assurance activities.
- Leveraging your advisory and consulting skills set to deliver high quality outcomes to our clients through a combination of hands-on delivery, and regular technical leadership and coaching to more junior members of the team.
- Supporting business development activities including proposal development, competitive RFT/RFP responses, cost modelling, and supporting client presentations / demonstrations.
- Managing the budget of client engagements to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget.
- Managing a team of consultants and providing guidance and mentoring to ensure their professional growth.
- Supporting the development of new capabilities, products and services based on market demand.
Technically, you will bring to the position:
- A sound foundation in working with audit standards and frameworks in a professional services environment.
- Extensive industry experience working with organisations assessing or implementing cyber security controls.
- A sound understanding of common cyber security frameworks used by Australian government organisations (e.g. ISM/PSPF, ISO27k, NIST CSF, VPDSF, SACSF, etc.).
- A reasonable understanding of contemporary technologies including networks, hyperscale clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP), common SaaS applications, end user compute, and data governance.
- Basic project management skills and the proven ability to lead a team of people in the delivery of a small project.
- Additionally we would love it if you have some of the following: Certification as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or other formal qualifications in Internal Audit, Commerce and/or IT related disciplines.
