Job description
The key account logistics specialist is responsible for planning components and FG based on ChrP
production scheduling utilizing the standard lean logistics (Bosch Production System) processes.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Entry of customer purchase orders and management of change requests.
- Planning of procured components and/or finished goods.
- Releasing and scheduling of production orders to satisfy OEM’s demand.
- Active management of customer complaints including problem resolution and implementing corrective actions.
- Submittal of formal customer quotes and issuing returns for credit.
- Management of customer payment disputes and debits.
- Frequent contact and follow up with customer and sales to guarantee high level of customer satisfaction.
- Analysis and tracking of key planning parameters, i.e. order changes, inventory levels, premium freight etc.
- Maintenance of planning and ordering parameters in MRP system.
- Analysis and follow-up on planning reports, i.e. open order, forecast, inbound receipts, shipments, inventory etc.
- Expedite and follow-up of in-house production and procured material.
- Coordination of new product releases with customer and production plant.
- Monitoring of goods receipts, inventory levels and master production schedule to ensure availability of components and finished goods for customer shipments.
- Application of CIP methodology to consistently improve planning processes and performance to customers.
- Maintenance and development of key suppliers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of 10 years relevant work experience.
- 4+ years planning experience.
- SAP experience.
- BPS or equivalent Lean production/logistics techniques.
- Comprehensive knowledge in production and inventory control methods.
- Analytical ability to review fluctuating demands and to minimize production changes and inventory investments.
- MRP knowledge.
- Computer skills: MS Office, SAP.
- Strong communication skills.
