The Opportunity:
Propietario clave de la relación con el proveedor. Posee y resuelve los problemas tácticos diarios de la cadena de suministro, como la resolución de pedidos pendientes, la aceleración de pedidos abiertos, la gestión del tiempo de entrega, los problemas de producción de los proveedores, etc. Ayuda en las sesiones de planificación de proveedores para respaldar las metas y objetivos de AVANTOR.

OVERVIEW
Planifica y gestiona los programas de producción y adquisición de materiales para cumplir con los requisitos deentrega del cliente y utilizar de la mejor manera la capacidad productiva de la empresa.

Responsable de planificar y gestionar los programas de producción y adquisición de materiales.
Responsible for planning and managing production and material procurement programs.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES (KPIs)
A. Determina los requerimientos de material
B. Genera liberaciones de material a los proveedores
C. Generación de MOC´S para los cambios de MP o ME
D. Generación de Desviaciones para los materiales a utilizar
E. Desarrollar nuevos proveedores que cumplan con los requerimientos para la organización
F. Responsable de la relación con los proveedores
G. Cumplir con los requerimientos de gestión de calidad con respecto a las auditorías a los proveedores
H. Mantener informados a las áreas de finanzas, comercial y operaciones de incrementos o decrementos de
precios del mercado
I. Administra todas las actividades asociadas con compras y planeación de producción
J. Desarrolla planes/programas de producción
K. Establece y da seguimiento a las prioridades de acuerdo con las necesidades del negocio
L. Contribuye al cumplimiento de las metas de Seguridad e Higiene y Medio Ambiente; así como Calidad y Productividad, y todos aquellos objetivos establecidos por el corporativo
M. Clasifica los materiales de acuerdo al procedimiento establecido (ABC)
N. Presupuestar los posibles incrementos de los materiales de acuerdo al mercado para el presupuesto anual
O. Participar y contribuir en la implementación de las estrategias corporativas como (ABS)
P. Establecimiento de los niveles de inventario
Q. Contribuir al cumplimiento al sistema de la gestión de calidad
R. Fungir como auditor interno de ISO 9001 de acuerdo al requerimiento de la empresa
S. Realiza otras funciones que le sean asignadas.
T. Puesto elegible a trabajo flexible de acuerdo a las necesidades del negocio.
A. Determine material requirements
B. Generates releases of materials to suppliers
C. Generation of MOC'S for MP or ME changes
D. Generation of Deviations for the materials to be used
E. Develop new suppliers that meet the requirements of the organization
F. Responsible for the relationship with suppliers
G. Comply with quality management requirements regarding supplier audits
H. Keep the financial, commercial and operations areas informed about increases or decreases in market prices.
I. Manages all activities associated with purchasing and production planning.
J. Develop production plans/schedules
K. Establishes and follows up priorities according to business needs
L. Contributes to the fulfillment of Safety and Hygiene and Environment goals; as well as Quality and Productivity, and all the objectives established by the
M. Classifies the materials according to the established procedure (ABC)
N. Budget possible increases in materials according to the market for the annual budget.
O. Participate and contribute to the implementation of corporate strategies such as (ABS)
P. Establishment of inventory levels
Q. Contribute to compliance with the quality management system
R. Serve as internal auditor of ISO 9001 according to the company's requirement
S. Performs other functions assigned to it.
T. Position eligible for flexible working according to business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education/training, experience, and certifications)
· Ingeniería Industrial o afín / Industrial Engineering or related
· Certificación en APICS preferentemente / APICS Certified a plus
· 3 años mínimo de experiencia como Comprador Planeador preferentemente en Planeación / 3 years minimum of experience as Buyer Planner preferably in Planning
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)
· Bilingüe: 85% inglés / Bilingual: 85% english
· Conocimientos en paquetes computacionales (Excel nivel intermedio, Paquetería Office, PROTEAN) /
Computer Software Knowledge (Excel, Office Parcels, PROTEAN)
· Conocimientos en ERP, MRP / Knowledge of ERP, MRP
ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under typical positions)

Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
