The J&J MedTech Surgery franchise offers a broad range of products, platforms and technologies-including sutures, hemostasis products, surgical staplers, trocars, and synthetic mesh devices-that surgeons use in a wide variety of open and minimally invasive surgical procedures, and energy based surgical devices. 


Join a highly engaged, motivated, and collaborative team to drive the ambition of the full J&J MedTech Biosurgery portfolio. The Senior Marketing Manager, Biosurgery Hemostatic Patches, will be responsible for managing a market leading portfolio of Hemostatic Patches.  They will be responsible for building marketing strategies to maximize customer value, market competitiveness, and deliver business objectives.   

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver on EVARREST and ETHIZIA sales and forecasts based on brand strategies, marketing programs and corporate operational objectives. Work across all elements of the marketing mix (brand strategy, marketing planning and execution, pricing, launch excellence, procedural selling)  

  • Lead the successful launch of ETHIZIA as the newest hemostasis patch to market including strategy refinement, launch readiness gates, timing, resource allocation, commercial enablement, execution of launch plans, and post‑launch optimization.  

  • Create and execute sales enablement tools & promotional programs with cross-functional departments (including advertising, professional education, contracting solutions, conventions, digital strategy and media plan development) to drive market expansion  

  • Partner closely with critical internal stakeholders including Field Sales, Commercial Insights, Key Account Management, Commercial Education, Global Strategic Marketing, Supply Chain, Medical Affairs, and Finance to develop and execute defined Business Plan and increase our competitive market position  

  • Build robust network with key opinion leaders and aligned societies to drive partnership and business objectives  

  • Identify and leverage customer insights to monitor industry developments and competitive activity that may impact business objectives 

  • Monitor and control budget to assess promotional effectiveness 

  • Ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant regional requirements, company regulations, policies and procedures.  

Education: 

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. An MBA is preferred 

 

Required: 

  • A minimum of 8 years of progressive business experience  
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Marketing or Sales 
  • Experience with Launch Excellence principles 
  • Ability to lead and influence in a highly matrixed organization  
  • Medical Device or healthcare industry knowledge 

 

Preferred: 

  • A minimum of 3 years marketing experience  
  • Medical device sales experience 
  • Ability to collaborate and challenge the status quo 
  • Ability to effectively build customer relationships 
  • Demonstrated experience developing and leveraging customer insights  
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully build and execute a marketing plan 
  • This position will require up to 25% travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
